Best PC emulator

I want to download some old games, but I need a PC, and really reliable emulators out there?

This usually depends. What kind of games are you planning on downloading?(I know some really good game console emulators for mac)
As for a pc emulator for mac... Virtual PC(Trial) runs on non-intel machines, or my favorite, Parallels that runs only on intel machines. I'm unsure if parallels has a trial or not... If you find a free pc emulator, you'll need a windows installation cd to run it.

VirtualBox is free and powerful but it still needs an operating system cd. If you choose this, download the free developer's version of Windows 7. That way you have a windows system you can play games on for free.

I had Virtual box Running, but it stopped working. its a  copy of the old fallout games from 1998-2001. For PC.

Hmmm... I'd try re-installing VirtualBox or the operating system.

Still no work, it says its "inaccessible"

yes all said it was a problem with the file name, but it was just working and U haven't changed anything.

I'm not quite sure I understand. You open VirtualBox, start up the OS and it doesn't work because it is inaccessible?

yes PC.vdi is inaccessible, and it won't let me open it.

Holy crud, I'm experiencing the same problem...
I'm thinking that there are 2 things:
(1) The developer beta of Windows 7 is up.
(2) You need to update VirtualBox.

Well... I'll look into it tomorrow but either the data is corrupt, moved, or Windows 7 is up.
