Tcp/Ip
« on: October 05, 2008, 09:13:18 AM »
Hey Al, is there anyway you can add Tcp/Ip support to Gm 4.0 before it comes out? That would make it way more worth while. Lw would be able to be finished. Also, could you possibly advance the Gm graphics? Make it faster, maybe with some new libs or frameworks? Also perhaps increased click areas, methods, cards, code, and sprite amount? Maybe even a bigger screen size...

Wow. I'm getting a little ahead of myself...

Wait for Redd to finish his new silver creator...  that has pretty much everything that you mentioned.

I think asking for more features before making a game with the current ones is a bit silly. ::)

Come on, I wanna see some GanSoft games! ;D

I'm thinking of making a Python server for Lw. Of course the program wouldn't be for GanSoft(That is a great name by the way), but for the Eclipse company.

Isn't lost winds pretty much dead? No offense to anyone, but I just don't think that a GM mmorpg would ever really work that well.

Most of this stuff is in there except for the tcp/ip. It has more click areas, more buttons, more sprites, bigger window sizes, etc. I want to get a preview out soon, but I keep getting slowed down by various things.

I'm in the process of moving my entire site to a new host. AOL is shutting down their web space. Once I move everything and redo all my links, I'll get the forum back up. This is one of the things slowing me down right now from working on GM 4 more.

I haven't seen GM go online or even multiplayer. I still long for that to happen.
I must be dreaming (wake up me wake up) How could this have happened. Tireas' cry when he found his computer fallen over in his chair with it's screen shattered.
