SCBox2D-Physics for SilverCreator

SilverCreator Physics Package

I'm sure all of have tried this, it's fairly fun to play with and powerful. Supports all machines 10.4+.

This thread is to discuss the future of this.

I stopped working on this a while ago when I got the thought:
What if instead of a plugin this was built into Sc?
That would fix the speed issue, inconsistent physics and make everything easier to program.
Though Mike simply doesn't have the time.

So I suppose there are multiple courses of action:
  • We could let it die. Completely forget about the awesomeness.
  • We could make a small group project. Just make a neat game using it.
  • We could rebuild a new version of SilverCreator(with a different name) that would utilize the scripting language I made as well as this physics engine built in. (It would be very fast) Though this is a big project. Couldn't do it alone.
  • Another option: Post below.

The third is way cool but it would be difficult because not many users here can help program it other than you Gan. I do like the idea of a quick group project though.

Oh and remember when you were considering just making a game with Box2D without SC and without making another interpreter? I think it could work out nicely.
