More creatures to roam the realms of Fáden:

Slimes, Jellies, Oozes, Gelatinus Masses, call them what you will no RPG is complete without them, thus I figured it was about time to add them to my sprite library. Jellies have always been among my favorite monsters. It's strange that they're usually the weakest monsters encounterable in modern day RPGs, as in Dungeons & Dragons (their origin) they're among the most dangerous.

EDIT:

And now... Small Jellies, and Jelly clusters!

Hehe. ;D Here's another RPG essential:

Giant spiders; nuf said.

Is any one else working on sprites for their games? I'd love to see some art for inspiration. :)

The slimes rocks :D The spider is scary, like spiders are.

I haven't been spriting lately. I however been drawing made up Digimon (I just turned 16 (yesterday :D), but I'm still a Digimon and Pokémon fanatic.)

I've been doing some character concept art, which I hope to turn into pixel art soon... if it turns out pretty well I'll post some.

The infamous Wolf sprite:

Another classic RPG monster. I had to study one of the early Final Fantasy sprites to get the pose right. The great thing about beast sprites is that you can re-color them and cast them off as a whole set of monsters:

http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/1053/evermoreroguesoftsprite.gif

In order that's Forest Wolf, Desert Wolf, Arctic Wolf, Hell Hound, Forest Goat, Hell Goat and 2 humans with improved shading. (I just thought I'd throw them in cause I like them)

Yup, re-coloring is a tacky trick, but one all the big games are guilty of I'm afraid, hehe...

EDIT:

Sorry, for some reason that last pit won't display so I've posted a direct link.

Those human sprites are really good... your shading has improved dramatically.

Silver you forgot to make all the different versions of wolf, like all RPGs such as (not the) final fastasy

you should have

red wolf
orange wolf
brown wolf
white wolf
grey wolf
blue glowing wolf
wolf on fire
wolf with a tophat
teen wolf
wolf with a funny mustache
wolf that turns into link
and inside-out wolf

THEN it will be a real RPG

This Cannot be, NOOOOOOOO!!!!
