FutureBasic

I did NOT know FutureBasic is free now! That's so awesome! I'm going to try and learn it, just for some different experience than Applescript, SilverCreator etc. I have REALBasic too which is something i might try after i delve into FutureBasic for a bit.

EDIT: Wow it is confusing lol.

Yeah. Go to the link below and download the v5.2 package. I think the translator is universal now. The editor still runs in rosetta, but a universal  binary editor is in beta.

I would recommend FutureBASIC over REALbasic now.

They have really screwed REALbasic up. I remember in the v1 and v2 days it was just a neat development tool for Mac. Now it's trying to be this 500 pound behemoth with editors and compiling for all platforms, because they decided to chase the money (selling the IDE to ex-Visual Basic users on Windows) rather than focus on one thing at a time.

RealBASIC is still cool. I found it hard to really 'get' FB at first... :-/

i still dont get FB, there needs to be more documentation IMO
