[Processing] Light Maze Returns
« on: February 03, 2013, 01:21:47 AM »
I'm currently making a Tron game in Processing in order to get started on a remake of my most successful past project, Light Maze. I say it's the most successful thing I've made because it was the first game I really felt like I was getting somewhere with. I was making levels and adding challenges and generally making a game that looked and felt fun, and I would still be working on it, or I might have even finished it by now, had TNT Basic not become deprecated.* Processing has all the tools I need to easily remake the game in basically the same style, including using color detection and incredibly simple coding.

It should also be a project that's easy for me to keep going even while college becomes more time consuming.

*Say what you will about Windows, but it's still 10 times better at backwards compatibility than Mac.

Looking forward to seeing your progress.  I was never able to get the old version of Light Maze working on my computer.   :(
