Hey, just to give a little update:
I haven't had much time to actually get on the computer due to marching band, ultimate frisbee, and homework, but I have started creating the gamemaker template. It will be a exact replica of gamemaker, and I will post a little Jing video up maybe sometime tomorrow.

Bad news. Turns out the expiration date on vb.net ran out.
I have 2 choices:
(1) Uninstall and Reinstall, hopefully it will reset the expiration.
(2) Buy it. (Very unlikely.)

I think I will come back from the darkside now. Maybe sense I understand coding a bit more I can take another try at Xcode. (Don't worry, I won't make a mac remake of Gm.)

Ya why bother considering there already is a mac version of Game Maker.
I must be dreaming (wake up me wake up) How could this have happened. Tireas' cry when he found his computer fallen over in his chair with it's screen shattered.

Sure.  ;)

I'm coming back from the dark side. Switching from vb.net to probably python or some other powerful graphics/networking multi-platform language.

Holy cooked sheep head with caca sauce!

The python language is AMAZING!
At first I was like "What kind of terminal-like crap is this junk? Can't even make any exectuable applications".
Than I found xwPython and am able to make gui apps. It is amazing. Syntax is pretty easy and I am now able to try to make an application that is multi-platform!

Cool... if you're going to use python to make a game, then I've heard pretty good things about the pygame libraries.

Oh? Do you know where I could find these pygame libraries?

I might be able to convert gm games to python instead of vb.net. Than it would be multi-platform.
