The release of Quest of Magic

I'm officially releasing Quest of Magic tomorrow on 17 June. Anyone who takes part in the rejoicing on the Roguesoft forums shall receive a limited edition game patch which grants players an additional race to play as! Don't forget though, the patch shall only be distributed within 48 hours of the release.

The Gnomes come with a free Cloak of Distraction when they start NICE!!
I must be dreaming (wake up me wake up) How could this have happened. Tireas' cry when he found his computer fallen over in his chair with it's screen shattered.

Actually I'm nearly 4 months late, seeing as how it was supposed to be released for the first GMG contest. The second contest is already half over and only now is QoM officially seeing the light of day.

But hush hush! ;D

EDIT:

Oh, btw Al, would you be able to update the download link on the GM homepage? That's one of the old betas I think.

I think he was referring to the fact that you wrote 17 June instead of 17 July. =D

That's odd, Necklace of Luck was only available to Gnomes in the old betas. From the last full build beta and up Gnomes have only been able to start with a Ring of Lesser Healing or a Cloak of Distraction. Are you sure you have the most recent version Gnome?

Wow, the "Extra" folder which contains all the QoM related stuff that doesn't come in the compiled package is 183.5 megs!

EDIT:

My mistake, 163.5. Still, that's a hefty weight for a GM game's resources!
