Make the Final Boss MUCH MUCH Harder. That would be nice. Like give him 200 hp.

lol! ;D I've given him 55-57. I've raised the strength of each boss significantly. The last boss was actually a level weaker in attack than he should have been, which probably explains why he was so easy.

I'll post the update in 20 minutes or so, I'm just finishing testing it for the second time.

I played it again from start to finish and its good again. Also once again I did not find the trinket collector.
EDIT: And the final boss was tough this time I beat him with no potions and 1hp left.

Yeah, he appeared really late into the game for me too. I was nearly finished the last level. I've already chopped his appearance rate in half, but I'll reduce it again for the official release.

Well, he'll be on the cleric's card when the variable rareitemcollector equals 30. The variable increases by 1 each time you resurface, and it starts at a random 20. We were probably just unlucky, but just in case I'll reduce the trigger.

He's a little green Gnome near the bottom of the screen, halfway between the Underdark entrance and the cleric. It's indeed possible you didn't notice him, I did it once.

I'm releasing the game in a few minutes, and then I'll be dishing out the patch! Woohoo!

Quest of Magic is released and downloadable from http://www.roguesoft.co.uk

It contains a few minor sprite changes, as well as a more common appearance rate for the rare item collector. Also, I've reduced the amount of enemies you have defeat in order to level up by 2 per dungeon level. That should make it slightly easier.
