Yeah, the HTML5 GM does support that feature. I just gotta figure out how to put that in.

GAN. You take out that feature where the chat brings the window to the front this instant! It pops up in front of whatever you're doing each time it Dings.

Wait, what?
Are you talking about the scroll that happens when new chats up pop, or you talking about something else?

That shouldn't happen.

I haven't experienced this issue. And apparently Zoo hasn't either. Have you tested this with other programs rather than Gish?

The problem was the window with the chat is always brought in front of the other windows when a message appears. I thought this was built in, like "hey! there's a chat!" but it's only this computer. Quick-time related perhaps?

That's certainly possible.

Try updating your quicktime/browser/OS.
When I revamp thr chatbox I might inadvertantly fix it. Then again there will be an option to turn the ding off which could fix it.

Gan, you never posted about this cool new chat box game! I like where it's going, care to elaborate on what you're doing with it? Will it eventually have circle collision for the main area like I said?

Yeah something like that.

Still adding code to the lobby. Just trying to put things together. Gonna do some speed enhancements, and I lost my train of thought.

Anywho, stick around. Could be exciting.

So I got bored just now and drew a tacky sword and a shield graphic that can be pasted right onto Gan's player template if you want them. ;)
I may make other items, clothes, hats, etc if anyone wants to request stuff. Most likely will be in the same style as the rest of the game, meaning simple and cartoonish. Or maybe a more flattering word is "whimsical".

The front menu GM5 is boring and grey and we ought to think up a nice graphic to put there.

Give the chat box and AFK toggle button!!!
That's what you should do.
This should either put a marker by your name or make it invisible or greyed out or SOMETHING to let people know.

In the spirit of the chat box game not being serious or commercial we ought to randomize textures of things to include different submissions. It would be fun and look less repetitive.
