ScAnimate Alpha
« on: July 30, 2008, 11:05:00 PM »
I've just finished the first Sc/Gm animation maker. Based off of the drawing program and spaceship maker, you have 49 blocks and an infinite amount of frames to make any movie you want.

Though there is a catch. Sc can't handle many sprites moving at once, so your animation may look a bit choppy or may move at different times. I believe I will convert this to tnt, which it will than run perfect, smoothly, and have unlimited sprites.
This is the first version, in later versions I will update it according to bugs and new features.

So, what do you guys think? Comments, suggestions, ideas?

Um... How does it work I try to make a picture but when I click nothing happens. I click new block then 1 appears in the corner and I can't move it? How do you use this? When I figure it out then I can judge it.

You click on the square to move it, than click next to make a new frame. Move the square, click next again, and keep going to make a movie. Save, go back to main menu, click the "Animate Player", load animation and play it.

When you click the square, you have to click the square with the exact middle of the mouse pointer, else it won't work.

When you go to Animate Player, type in N when a prompt comes up. Then go to the open file button. Find your file and load it. Then click play. The lower the number you type in play, the faster the animation will be.

Strange. Is repeat on?
If it still doesn't work, could you tell me everything you did detailed?

I opened SC animate Carbon.
I clicked on animate Player
I type N
I pressed "Open File to Play"
I selected "Waving Guy"
I clicked open
I then Pressed "Play File"
I typed "1000"
Then nothing happened and repeat was set to off.

Haha.  The higher number you pick, the slower the movie will run. The number you pick is the number of miliseconds you will have between each frame.

Try typing in 5.

It said Milliseconds which is = to 1/1000 of a second if I type 1000 it should be 1 second in between each frame. It seems to be more of a 1/10 of a second rather than a millisecond.

60 milliseconds = 1 second.

10000 = Lots of minutes.
