Here's SimpleCard 1.2.

Test it out, show me the creations, and report ANY bugs.

It's looking really good so far. I like how it easily compiles and that you can change cards. Though it needs an eraser tool badly.:P
Maybe you could get someone to redo the sprite?

I redid the icon for you:

Just open it in preview, press select all, copy. Than go to your application, get info, click the icon and press paste.

Though if you want a smaller rim:
Smaller
Even Smaller
Almost non-existent

Unfortunately, there's no music support. Redd sent me an editor that could do music, but it didn't work. I tried getting it to work, but unfortunately, it doesn't look likely it will be working until Redd gets back online later today.
Care to explain what the problem was? :/

It shows me the item selector when I click Add Music, and it turns to Remove Music, but the movie player control isn't being assigned a movie, so you can't preview it.

It's a mystery, because the code looks textbook-perfect. I cannot come up with a reason as to why it's not working :\\

Update: 1.2 is out now. It's on MU, and there's links to the GMG in the help section, so we should expect some new blood here in the next few days perhaps. With any luck, they'll feature it on Mac Format.

Yeah, she's getting an old blue g3 mac laptop as a present. Can only run simple things like Safari, text edit, ect... Your game maker will fit perfectly and she'll love it.

Check this out. It runs in OS 9 so you need to be able to run Classic.

Wow. 59K for the entire program and the simple game is only 115K. What happened to those days?

I must be dreaming (wake up me wake up) How could this have happened. Tireas' cry when he found his computer fallen over in his chair with it's screen shattered.

This hearkens back to the days when everybody was making their own card-based game creators.   ;D

I haven't tried it yet, but I will soon.  Does it have a scripting language or is it just cards and buttons?
