Story Maker (Small Game)
« on: June 05, 2008, 05:37:33 PM »
Here's a small game I started a week or so ago:

I got the idea from a SC game involving a bar fight.

LOL I couldn't stop laughing at the nonsensical stories I made. This is a great game you should put more stories in it.
I must be dreaming (wake up me wake up) How could this have happened. Tireas' cry when he found his computer fallen over in his chair with it's screen shattered.

K I made a story maker version. http://www.mediafire.com/?ey4o32gxzgx This one include a story my dad made. just load the save and click "see story" Plus you can save your own stories (using the file menu) and upload them.

If you used FILIO WRITE all your stories would have to contain less than 255 characters

Yeah, I tried that with FILIO WRITE but to no avail.

I just rewrote the whole thing to allow it to save to a file and then I accidentally deleted it.

Anyway I fixed the ; bug in compiled games. I'm going to release a minor update that fixes the sprite bug (can't have more than 10 sprites), REFRESH TEXT bug, and the semicolon bug. They are all in compiled games, so I'm only making an update to the compiled game engine.

No. You can do this

FILEIO OUTPUT 1 "Untitled Story"
FILEIO WRITE 1 $x1$$ $x2$$ $x3$$ $x4$$
FILEIO CLOSE 1

Cool! Have you noticed anything that could account for the Click Area glitch?
