This is a discussion about current projects. no need to discuss whether macs are better than P.C.s. We all know anyway.

Indeed. I should point out that I'm using Windows on my snail-mail project because it's less hassle when it comes to the software side of things. It's essentially a database loosely hooked up to an email account with Outlook: customer types in message, selects an address from a pull down menu which is filled by that customer's contact list from the database (done in Access, which sucks, but nevermind), whole thing is sent as plain text to an email address that is checked by Outlook with a rule applied to print that message out and then the message list is stripped of traction feed paper and cut where messages start and finish. The only reason I can't use a Mac for this is because I cannot find a driver for my dot-matrix printer, and using listing paper is pretty much essential to the entire operation.

Why Win2k? Why not a good OS like XP?

I like how "XP" looks like a face with it's eyes shut sticking out it's tongue. It's kinda like "XD".

Hey GMG. After exams I totally crashed, lost motivation to work on anything and spent break traveling and looking at colleges. My life has been changing a lot lately and I've had less time and less energy to spend on game development.

That doesn't mean I've given up programming! Now that break is over and I have a schedule I think I'll be able to snap out of this and be active here again.

Johns Hopkins, Haverford, Swarthmore, and Penn. Haverford and Swarthmore are currently my top choices, I'm looking for a small college at which I can study both humanities and computer science.
