HyperCard in the history of digital art

Reading these two articles -
http://ellaguro.blogspot.com/2015/02/a-21st-century-digital-art-manifesto.html
http://www.loper-os.org/?p=568

got me nostalgic for card-based development and what it meant for me as a new programmer. With the death of SilverCreator, there really is no modern equivalent.

i still highly recomend "chronicle of ekan" but how would you run hypercard games now? sheepshaver? that game was SO good, and on a technical level its arguably more advanced than MLII, and it came out like 20 years ago. i wonder what happened to the kid that made it? he must be in game design

i did fan art for it a long time ago, its still on my photobucket
