So, I've finished applying to universities, completed my portfolios and exams, and I've found a bunch of spare time that I'll be dividing between playing games, making games, writing comics, and hanging out with friends/girlfriend.

As such, no, I haven't forgotten, but I really, really, want to get a solid chunk of - you guessed it - Nel's Journey - done. To keep myself motivated, I'll post regular updates and samples of my work. And, if I stop posting, please e-smack me around a bit and get me back on this project.

It's an ambitious (dare I say overly so) Action RPG with a world map, a quest system, and an event system that modifies others around the game world. I got a ways into it before I just didn't have the time, but I released a demo which I've still got hanging around my old mac HD somewhere.

But might as well make a progress/to-do list!

I didn't map the collision classes in the room used for the preview, but it works. Room sizes are independently customisable from 1 to 25 nodes long and wide.
