I actually read Eragon and Eldest in middle school and just now read Brisingr. I should read the first two again some time. It's hard to remember all of what happened. The first book is truly epic though. I think the second and third didn't have as much of a plot arc but they are building up to a climax in the fourth book, Inheritance.
