It looks to as if the colors are just a tad brighter/lighter am I correct?

It looks a little like that to me too, but no, they're actually the same color. I think it's a trick of the eye caused by the increase in brighter tones. (skin tone 1)

Yup. It makes the shoulders seem less hunched.

I'm just thinking, I probably won't release QoM on Friday after all, as it's Friday the 13th and you can bet I'd release it as open source by mistake or something. ;D So, come Saturday I'll release it, provided I don't discover an incredibly bizarre and dangerous to the gameplay glitch that simply must be fixed. Other than that though, I think Saturday's looking hopeful...

I zoomed in on my screen and I am quite sure the color is a tad brighter.

If you mean the purple, (which is what looks lighter to me) I assure you that it's the same. I just tested it in Photoshop it's hex color 660099. Strange though, as it still looks lighter to me too.

Ya, I just tested it with photoshop too it is the same color. But it really does look like the bottom one is lighter.

Long story short, I doubt it will be before monday that I release the beta. It is finally almost complete, but I spent so much time re-balancing gold accumulation that I still haven't finished the last dungeon level. I've added 2 new features that I really like though, and I thought of a good new puzzle/challenge that'll be different then the others.

The last level is nearly finished, and the only thing left to do when it's done is a final roundup job on gold balancing. Hopefully you guys can give your opinions on this when the beta's released.

I'm adding a few more small events and features to make gameplay less repetitive, but although progress is going extremely well I doubt it'll get finished by tonight. One of these days though, if not tomorrow, it will be released.

The release of 1.0.0 (not the full build beta) shall be celebrated on the Roguesoft forums on the release night, and anyone who'd care to drop by and take part in the rejoicing shall receive a special game patch which will unlock an additional race to play as! The patch will only be distributed within 48 hours of the release.

Not sure yet, as I don't know how much of these extra features I'm gonna add. ;) I don't think it can be much longer now though, as the GM file's over 15mb which is dangerously near the "Here There Be Glitches" mark. Hopefully the full build beta will be out this week.
