Heck yeah, though I'd also be persuaded if they just sent me the server files and instructions on how to host.

P.S. My G4 can be dedicated and reliable, I'm thinking it'd just be kinda slow.
I could have my iMac host it when I'm not moving it around. Which would be considerably faster.
P.S.S. I'm not entirely sure how good my internet is for hosting, there's a possibility of a little lag. Here I'll do a speed test:

Server software, eh? No need for a minecraft account?
You are truly a nice person. Would this be a 24 hour thing?

That's good, if all it'll be doing is hosting the server

Yeah it'd be up 24/7.
There could be 2 different servers.
(1) iBook G4 - Reliable but a tad slow. On 24/7.
(2) iMac Intel - Unreliable but fast. On when I don't turn my computer off.

Or hmm. I think I could do something fancy. I could have the server files be stored on my external drive, and whenever my iMac is on, just host the server there, and whenever it's off host it on the G4.
That'd mean 1 server, on practically forever and much faster whenever running on my iMac.

Though I wouldn't mind having a Minecraft client so I could test the server firsthand...

I'd buy you a gift code, but I'm broke.
