GMG MC Server

I got a fairly nice tablet computer, it's on and plugged in 24/7 so I thought I'd just host a server on it.

Here is the IP: 174.70.154.67

It contains no add-ons so I'm trusting you guys not to haxor.

I'll stop by soon and maybe work on our temple to the Minecraft gods, which could use a name by the way what do we name the big dramatic temple with the portal in the middle?

Actually, the GMG MC server is going to get reset soon so there's a town at spawn.

That way we can build the wall of jerusalem around the town. Also difficulty is being increased and build height.
Also I'm only going to play legit now, no X-Ray.

If you get on the server right now, you can have a little demolition fun.

Thanks, good to know. Here's hoping we can get enough players that resources aren't a big issue in the new server. I'm gonna make some TNT later. XD

Welp. So much for not cheating items in. I wonder how long before the spawn area becomes a smoldering crater.

You know these guys might be more willing to join your servers if you kept one map going longer and didn't blow up the starting zone.

It's a demolition zone until I reset it probably in a day or two.

Alright, but announcing that you'll reset a map in 2 days doesn't really motivate me to want to do much.

Also I was just now kicked and given the message "Flying is not enabled on this server" which further proves my theory that the flying hack prevention is horrible. I've had this happen to me before on other servers.

Uhm. I don't have any mods installed. If there's flying prevention, it's build into Minecraft.

Update:

New world has been made. Spawn is at a town. Connors and I have been working hard. We walled up all the villagers to keep them safe. We set up HQ in a building, got HQ's wall blown to bits, and started lighting up the town and filling up the tons of holes. We're still working on leveling out the hills.

Here's the plan:

• Level the hills surrounding the town.
• Level the town, fill the holes in town.
• Light the town and all the surrounding area.
• Create the wall of Jerusalem. A giant wall around the town.
• Fix the buildings in the town.
• Create a main HQ castle building.
• Whitelist the server and advertise on the main Minecraft forums.

I believe I've filled all the holes in and around town. Should be much less dangerous.

Now we just need to light the place up. Also we need to hollow out and light up the massive caves below town. I fear that's where many of the monsters originate.
