will the airport card from my intel imac work on my g5 imac? they are both the same 17" white  models

this is so annoying i cant connect my emac to my imacG5, file sharing is on, nothing shows in the network folder

I used to have network problems with my sisters intel Mac. It was one of the early models.

The A1026 Airport Extreme card as found in the iMac G5 will not work in any iMac Intel model.

I haven't had any problem hooking my old iMac up with my new one.
