Thanks for the compliment Eq, but just to clarify I'm not officially working on the project. I'll offer anything that's asked of me except actual content, as I'm already working on far too many projects to take on another. (look how far behind I am with ToF ;D ) I've just finished a SketchFighter group project however, and hopefully my Little Big Planet level will be finished soon too, so I expect my return to GM projects shortly. :)

I'm not sure a tile engine would be that good for a side scrolling game.

no you should have an overhead view game with the tile engine instead of 2d sidscrolling, i think that would be much better. but if you already have a scrolling engine than just use that

I just got Gmod access and am downloading the whole eclipse site now. I will look at Mistron's code and see if I can fix anything up.
