Haha! Foiled again! *disappears in puff of smoke, leaving only a link to Swagbucks behind so the other GMG'ers may profit from their searches*

If we can't trust about how he looks or where hes from how do we know that he didn't forge that gift card?

I honestly don't think a long-standing member of the GMG is a con-artist.

Well I think I figured them out, they offer swagbucks and stuff in order to get you to buy from their store and thats how they get money.

Not at all, actually. You shop through the store and get cash back, you don't shop through them - youre directed to the actual site with a referral ID so you get discounts and cashback as well.

Why are you looking for a scam in something that obviously isn't?

The Way they get money is by sponsored links on the searches.

I am looking for a source of money they can't give you money if they don't have any.

Linked searches are sponsored. Therefore, money comes.

LOL! A hilarious concept though; the past two years spent learning programming, making games, posting on the MGM and GMG forums were all mere elements in an elaborate plan to recruit more Swagbucks members! ;D

Oh dear me that was so funny... anyways, having glanced at the Swagbucks site, it seems really cool. What do you have to do exactly Swamp, just use their search engine while browsing?

That's it. I use it as my homepage instead of google (because it takes google results), and every now and then a message will pop up above your search saying:

"Congratulations! You have won ____ (usually 1, 2, 5, 10, or on mega days 20, 50, and 100) Swagbucks! They have been automatically added to your account."

Then, after searching regularly and saving up for a while, you can use the Swagbucks to redeem something cool for free from the store. So far I've snagged myself a $5 Starbucks (a coffee place) gift card, a $5 amazon gift card, and a few sweepstakes entries, and I've only been signed up since the end of January!

Its simple, useful, and gets you some free stuff! Overall a great site. And also, if you plan to purchase online, do it though the rebate store, theyre partnered with stores and you'll get a swagbuck for every $5 you spend! They also usually have savings deals and printable coupons!

Later on they've announced a trade video games system (and play them, too) to win swagbucks. Every now and again they'll release a swagcode that you can put in your profile redemption box for a few more free swagbucks!

Anyway, if you wanna sign up, here's the link:

It's completely legitimate and completely awesome.
