Both use flash. Update Adobe Flash and try it again.

What do you mean don't load, do the pages not even show up, or are certain components of the page not loading? If it's the first, somethings wrong with your internet connection. If it's the second, you need update flash and if it's no loading on 10.3.9, make sure you meet all the system requirements.

I doubt it's the internet connection, as other sites seem to work fine. (assuming Eq's accessing the GMG form the same computer that is) I once had a problem with Savefile where the website wouldn't fully load on my computer even though it worked fine on my sister's. As far as I know both computers had the same updates for major software as they're always updated at the same time, yet still the website behaved most inconveniently on my computer. It was fixed the next time I went to use Savefile, but that wasn't the first time I'd experienced problems with it so I switched to Mediafire shortly after.

screencasts dont load either, i just noticed sometimes ads get blocked which is good, but that might be createing the conflict, how do i turn it off? its not the popup blocker, it blocks ads on some sites, i cant find it in the preferences

It is your flash, I know it for sure. Without it google ads and some more ads don't work, but some sites that need flash to work won't work too.

Did you turn off flash? And what browser are you using? I guess Internet Exp... Safari or Fire Fox.

I don't know about Safari but in FF there is something about flash in the options window.

im useing safari, youtube works, google ads work, but it says "ad blocked" where a graphical ad normally is sometimes, screencasts dont load at all, and mediafire site loads but when i click login nothing happens, and when i try to download from mediafire the page loads but the link never finishes, it shows that small blue blox with scrolling stripes

Now I'm having trouble with MediaFire. All of my files have vanished. :( They were in maintenance mode awhile ago I think, so maybe it has something to do with that.

To upgrade your Os, you will have to buy the next version up. 10.4 currently works for mostly everything but intel apps.

Oh, that sounds like an "Access Privileges" related thing. My sister's MacBook has always experienced problems accessing, running, moving and generally doing anything with files if the file was downloaded by another User. I blame the Intel chips Apple installed in the series. Bad, bad chips...

As for locking and unlocking folders on Leopard, I think there's a "Sharing & Permissions" category when you Get Info on a file. Might be worth a look.
