Egg. See, chickens evolved from snakes or lizards or something. it was a slow transition, but the first real chicken must have been born from a not entirely chicken...

Chicks, I got plenty of books already.

Zoo thats what I was thinking! The first chicken came from the egg of an almost-chicken. The only problem with that is there would be an imperceptible difference and it's hard to pin-point when it was an official chicken. XD Unless you're talking about creationism where the chicken must have been made first.
