Why have an Obama banner? The GMG community isn't all from America. Putting up a banner like that would be declaring the GMG's nationality.

The GMG was made in the US, is owned by a US citizen, and is served off of US servers. :D Besides, Obama's victory is a victory for the world. ;)

Obama's ok so far, hasn't destroyed us yet. He is a bit of a deciever though. He says he is a Christian but what he is pointing towards says otherwise.

Well, seeing as Britain is in massive debt to everyone...

The taxpayer will pay the bills. Apparently, time and money is what we need to get out of the recession. The easiest and quickest way to solve this is to just build up our navy and rebuild the British Empire so we can pillage countless continents for gold, coffee, tea and tobacco :)

Now there's a thought; I believe Abe Lincoln said that tobacco is "good as gold". Why don't we revert to trading tobacco rather than gold? At least it is sustainable.

He's definitely not a Muslim if that's what you're implying. The GOP tried to push that message out during the 2008 Presidential Election, but it's simply not true. I don't know how else to put it really. Not based in reality? Propaganda? Lies?

...as opposed to George W. Bush, who... oh wait he did the same thing. It's not better, but it's not worse, and we didn't have very many options from an economic standpoint.

I'm guessing that the idea of an Islamic man or woman in a government position scares most Americans. Islam is something people fear because of the media's scaremongering.

It was the same in the United Kingdom back in the 1980's. It's just that the terrorists aren't Irish now, apparently they're all Asian.
