Do "Edits" bump a Topic?
« on: May 18, 2008, 01:36:37 PM »
Just wondering Ghost, but do Edits bump a Topic? I ask because I occasionally  see the "New" icon floating next to Topics that haven't been posted in in weeks. For example, the topics "Forum Ranks, loony bin?, How did you find GM or silver creator?, luker, SC comminty non-existent?, and GH video" all have the "New" icon next to them, but I don't think any of the topics have been posted in in ages.

I don't think it bumps them, but it marks it as new so people can see the revised post. Bumping would mean it goes to the top, which it doesn't. I'll check if there's an option for that...

Ah, that explains it. Thanks for clearing that up. :) (I thought it was something wrong with my account)
