ebook
« on: February 26, 2011, 11:15:53 AM »
Just got my old clamshell ebook up and running. I put some stuff on it, cleaned up the desktop and put my email on it.
I already have glider pro, and gamemaker on it. Anyone know any great system 9 games/applications that I should get? My imac is probably so offended by this post :D

You definitely need some classic OS9 games, like Monkey island 1 and 2, Quake, Shadow Warrior, Duke Nukem 3D, Warcraft 2, SimCity 2000, Terminal Velocity, and Descent. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

OMG I wanna play Duke Nukem 3D so bad lately, but  my CD won't run on this computer. (Figures...)

I'll try some of these. Oh and I can't get anything off media fire on this computer. I need a direct download link.  :-[
Oh and I mean more like freeware. I'll look into the CD ones if I find them at a garage sale.

Crazy.  I was just fooling around with my old OS 9 iMac after not having turned it on for about a year.  Don't have much on it as far as freeware, though.

I still have a laptop with OS9 actually, just can't use it because of a faulty power cord.

garage sales are so outdated, whenever i want something i just get it off amazon. i never got to play the full version of warcraft ii growing up, i only had the demo that i loved, and a while back i saw there was a psone port, so i got that for like 6$ deliver right to my house and its a really good port

but did anyone hear about that girl who went to a yard sale and bought a box of old nes games from someone who used to own a funco land, and one of the games was "stadium events" SEALED, if you dont know its THE rarest game for nes and she sold it on ebay for 40grand, isnt that f*ckin insane?!

Yeah, garage sales rule. Anyone know of a way to select part of an image and move it around in the old freeware GM? I'm using my old computer a lot because I like how it says stuff.
"It's not my fault" It says whenever there's an error. And using applescript, I programmed it to say things like "yes, master" and "Would you like coffee to go with your copy of simcity 2000?" I really need a new mouse though, because I hate using a trackpad.

If you need the last version of GameMaker that will run in OS 9 I can send it to you. It's v3.97.

Yeah, that'd be great. I already have gamemaker (as you can tell by my game for the GMG cup.) Just PM me the direct download link, if that's alright.

You guys got me curious so I googled some things, and this remake looks very cool:
