Survival Multiplayer.  I haven't tried it myself because it's in a very early alpha stage, but people are getting excited over it.

It's awesome. My forum has an SMP server, but we've disabled monsters (don't want creepers blowing up our stuff).

Oh cool, I didn't realize monsters worked yet. Can we log on? And if so what's an address we can use?
I've been on CraftHub's server but they also turned of monster. They were discussing allowing anything but Creepers though.
