My New Site
« on: April 15, 2009, 04:45:18 AM »
Seeing as nobody is really alive at SNET anymore (hence me posting in here), I'd like to just sort of... assume that a few of the guys from SNET are still here :P

If anyone would care to point your browser to....

http://www.halcyondr.co.uk/

...then you'll be able to see my new website!

I've also had a look at the games currently available in the Downloads section of this site, and I have to say, I am impressed. I'm planning on turning my website into a business which gives independent developers a portal and the means to sell their software without having to register as self employed, buying webspace, buying advertising or set up a phone line for telephone support, ect ect list goes on blah blah... I'm already as far as getting the correct forms and documents, all I need to do is submit and I'm ready to start trading :)

If anyone is interested in making a profit from their own software, just drop me a line. Ideally you'd be based in the UK, because that makes phone conversations and formal meetings much easier, and you wouldn't be subject to the interest on international transactions.

Holy shit, I sound like one of the spambots. Ignore what I said.

Eh, yeah, but do give me some feedback about the website... It's not finished, and I won't finish it unless people like it. What do you guys think?

Not exactly, but I love old computers and I always thought that the "Guru Meditation" errors were funny.

Fantastic. I have to say, I always like the idea of "guru meditation" errors but I much prefer a program on the Atari ST - I think it's called Leonardo - and it displays Leonardo Di Vinci's head in place of TOS bomb errors.

Still, not as good as Guru Meditation on it's own :P

Sure, you're all welcome to send stuff to me, or reserve your bit before I start getting more developers. The address is support@halcyondr.co.uk, and remember to include your name and email so I can set it up on the flashy new database :)
