Favorite Maniacs?

I think I may have asked this before, but I've been enjoying a lot more maniacs lately, and so I'm wondering: who's your favorite maniac?

I've been enjoying a LOT of the Ani(maniacs, obviously), Maniac (the song by Caravan Palace), assorted fictional serial killers, and more.

Oh man, where do I even begin? OH! I know...

...Freakazoid! was an epic cartoon maniac.

For me, it's a tie between David Berkowitz and Charles Manson.  I mean, I don't approve of their methods, or their personalities, or anything else about them... but, you know, they were pretty good maniacs.  Just sayin'.

Well, are we talking success here? Because if we're judging maniacs on a scale of how successful they were, I'd say I'd have to vote Hitler or Stalin, but they weren't terribly interesting. Just quite evil.

As for fictional maniacs, there's Moriarty, of Sherlock. Definitely my favorite.

My favorite fictional maniac would be the Queen of Hearts from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.  She impulsively sentences a bunch of people to death by beheading, only to pardon them a few minutes later... that's straight-up maniacal, dude.

Yeah, Animaniacs was a great show.

I could think of plenty of cartoon villains. Ever watched The Batman? or Teen Titans? Xiaolin Showdown? haha

I once heard that the popular Batman villains were all based on certain mental disorders.

Also Hannibal Lecter: "I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti."
