A Purpose for Blender
« on: April 03, 2014, 07:06:50 PM »
Prerendered graphics for games.

Yeah, I bet that's a term you haven't heard since 1994. But it ends up working pretty well. I made Button Simulator, a low impact test that does ABSOLUTELY nothing except play some music and let you press a button.

I can't export for mac though... Oh well.

Working on a 2.5D space shooter with my friend. I'm learning a TON about GM Studio. Also wishing cross-platform export was a reasonable price...

Sounds totally cool. I've been wanting to make a shooter thing myself.

By the way I don't know if I shared this with you GMG people so I'll just drop this link here: http://www.cletusclay.com/

Yeah. I'm getting fairly good at modeling basic things. I mean, it still looks really ugly, but cool. I figured out timelines, so it's gonna be fairly easy to make levels for this spacy-shooty thing.  8)
