Other Languages & Tools / Similar To SilverCreator for Windows
« on: June 03, 2019, 04:03:07 PM »
Hey everyone,

I am looking for a program very similar to SilverCreator, but for Windows.
Missing making simple games like the good old days.

Recently been obsessed with "The 7th Guest" and wanted to try and make something inspired by it, albeit a much smaller project and much more simple. Almost considering just trying to do something similar in RPG Maker or some other simple engine, but I am not sure yet.

I need a download, thanks.

If they can get $60,000 for a potato salad, surely we can get $60 for a year of hosting.

Or just ask me nicely.
I'll either host you guys if you want, or you guys could finally just merge with another larger forum to get your name out there.

Use the resources presented to you Gan.

I will gladly take everyone under my wings.
I can either assimilate the forum into my current project:

Or, I can offer FREE hosting on my personal OVH 480Gbps DDoS protected dedicated server.
We have plenty of resources.
64Gb RAM, dual Intel Xeon processors, gigabit line, etc.

To keep it simple, I'm going to see what I can do in SC.

SilverCreator / SpaceZ - Space Colony Simulation
« on: August 18, 2013, 12:16:41 AM »

With summer coming to a close, and school just over the horizon...
I wanted to at least be productive for the remaining time of freedom I have.

My thoughts?
I have decided I am going to see where two weeks can bring me in creating a space colony simulation game.

I don't plan for it to be anything extremely complicated, just a neat little project to keep myself from moping around for the last weeks.

Planned Features:

Multiple Colony Races
Enemy Colony Raiders
Strict Economical Backbone
Year/Month System (very basic)
Public Figure Puppet (your puppet government)
Resource Depletion
Planet Lifetimes

Website: Coming soon. The website will be for me to place the download links.

I am currently debating if I should also give out the resources with it (a.k.a. opensource)
It could be handy, as my peers (you guys) could check my work, and help me out.

Very sorry about the massive image.

Yes, the black space is all screen space.
I have a double layer of monitors currently.

This could be taken much farther.
You could create private rooms for people, with maps. These maps would have blocked areas. People could pay for their own sprites.
You could have tons of game modes, with custom game modes.
People could forge their own worlds, with an online map editor.

This could become something pretty big, if done correctly.

I mean, you could have custom soundtracks for rooms, and everything.

Awesome. Sadly I'm going to be taking it down soon. My free host is no longer going to be free in a few days.

If you want, you could park the domain on my host for free.
It's quick loading and I get slammed with traffic daily without any slow downs. (on my main site)

0%, 0%, 0%, 0%, 0%, 0%.
Sometimes one will flick over to 1 for a moment.

Sorry for my grave digging.
Just upgraded and I now get this same result when using the chat box.
