The Theremin is truly one of the awesomest musical instruments. I'm thinking of getting a real one, but for now I'll have to deal with a theremin simulator

Better for sound effects than for musicality; I guess I can't say it's not a "real" instrument, it's just... weird. Also I've heard people try to play songs on it, and they seem to struggle just to keep it in tune.

Random thought:
I bet I could make some sound effects with my clarinet.
