Title: SpaceZ - Space Colony Simulation

Background:
With summer coming to a close, and school just over the horizon...
I wanted to at least be productive for the remaining time of freedom I have.

My thoughts?
I have decided I am going to see where two weeks can bring me in creating a space colony simulation game.

I don't plan for it to be anything extremely complicated, just a neat little project to keep myself from moping around for the last weeks.

Planned Features:

Multiple Colony Races
Enemy Colony Raiders
Strict Economical Backbone
Year/Month System (very basic)
Public Figure Puppet (your puppet government)
Resource Depletion
Planet Lifetimes

Website: Coming soon. The website will be for me to place the download links.

I am currently debating if I should also give out the resources with it (a.k.a. opensource)
It could be handy, as my peers (you guys) could check my work, and help me out.

To keep it simple, I'm going to see what I can do in SC.

D'oh! Showed my brilliance there, this is in the SilverCreator sub-forum.  ::)

I'm excited, feel free to PM questions and code snippets if you want to keep the code secret.

This sounds really ambitious.  I look forward to playing it.

It sounds very cool. Actually it might be one of those projects that would make sense in Silver Creator. I mean, it would at least require fewer workarounds than my platforming game, with all the arrays. Looking forward to an interesting game.
