Title: Shadowed lands

Shadowlands rough

I'm living in shadowed lands
Filled with faces I used to know. 
But while I stood there still and tall,
the faces continue to grow. 

Now they leave me one by one
And I'm constantly on the run
From the things I have not done
From the things I wish I'd done

I got the idea of this yesterday. But didn't write it down. Now I can't remember exactly how it goes. Espessially the 4th line. Any ideas on what it could be? How do you like the rest of the poem?

I'm no poetry expert, but it sounds good to me.
The fourth line doesn't really fit in, though.

I was remembering something about Facebook and people on it seeming fake or insincere.

yeah thats exactly what it was about. Living in the world of your past while it moves along without you. I didn't know what you meant at first by ghosts.
