Title: @ DnD players
Post by: Gnome on June 08, 2010, 11:44:24 PM
There's an Extremely rare wizard figure in auction right now. It was a prize in an old contest, and finding one was like getting the golden ticket from willy wonka.

I was going to snag it myself, (being a collectior of such things) but I may not have the nessisary funds. I'd rather it go to someone I know then to a stranger.

Here's the link for all interested:

How rare are we talking? If it goes for the current price that would be a steal.

Very. As I understand it (wasn't alive at the time) only around a dozen of each model were made.

However, it is only valuable in the right market. If you know how to play your cards right in the Mini market I could see it go for much more then the 10$ it is now (similar models of equal rarity I have seen go for around 150$.) but again, you have to play your cards right, and that isn't guaranteed. Barely a trace of this contest is left today.

Ah Grenadier... alongside Prince August they made the best figures around, until Prince August lost interest in fantasy and Grenadier (I think) went out of business.

We still have several boxes of led figures though, from before they were banned. ;D
