Title: A new game?
Post by: Mystor on May 17, 2008, 09:30:02 AM: I am looking into creating a new game.
However, this new game is going to be different. I am currently trying out the Unity 3D demo and am finding it very well built.
I am looking for ideas and people who actually know how to use blender so that I can make something cool.

Any suggestions?

Because I get the feeling you will fall flat on your face in the AI department if you try and make something that requires even basic AI. 3D AI pathfinding is a complex and horrendously confusing topic, and the unity engine doesn't do it for you.

Post by: WarHampster on January 15, 2011, 06:54:29 PM: I am no modeler. However, I recommend that you check out some alternative modeling programs that take a different approach than the standard polygon pushing. It would be much easier to pick up and see results.

For example, check out Sculptris.
