Epicus

Ahh, Gamemaker. What would we ever do without you? It's just so easy to create awesome games, but if you want to get into the complicated stuff, that's simple to do also. And this theory is proven correct in a great RPG game by Roguesoft's Silverwind, in Epicus. This was one of my first finished GM RPG's, and I think It was time well spent. Two hours well spent. That's long for a GM game. I think I played through it from beginning to end because of it's awesome stat balancing, making it never too easy or too hard, and because of it's great sense of humor. Sound quality was perfect, graphics were quirky but likable, and the battle system was simple to use and fit the game nicely. The game was not without it's errors, though. Sometimes, a looping bug allowed me to fight a defeated boss indefinalty, and gain higher XP each time. That brings own the score a bit, but still overall, Epius is one of my favorite GM games, and I highly recommend you download it and try it out now. You won't be disappointed.
