Debate - Halo wars

Gnome to the rescue!

No way this can be offensive. :D

So here are some topic points

What do you think of the Halo and RTS combination?

What do you think of Microsoft letting other Companies make Halo games?

Do you think RTS should be a PC only genre?

DO you think Halo wars will save ensemble studios? (going out of business last game)

Well you always have to worry about copyright lawsuits so other companies making halo games might want to be a bit careful.

Microsoft owns Halo, so that won't be a problem  ;)

I personally don't really like RTS games, so I'm not that excited about halo wars... on the other hand, I think that the halo series fits into the RTS genre well as it has lots of troops/ vehicles with different upgrades/ classes.

Halo was originally supposed to be an RTS for MAC but bungie changed it.

Yeah... if it weren't for the evil empire (microsoft), then Bungie would still be an all mac company.
