Tetraeon On StereoFame

Well guys, its been a while since my last Tetraeon progress update, so I thought I should recap what's happened so far.

1. We've submitted our music to "Fresh Air Lounge Series" podcast, and "Techtronic Sound" podcast. This should be good for publicity and reviews.

2. Many more DJ's have our music. It's playing in a lot of clubs and we're getting progress reports - its doing very well. One DJ loved it so much that he's bringing it on a tour!

3. We've created a mailing list, to keep everyone updated on our progress. Send an email with the subject "Tetraeon Mailing List" to tetraeon.mail@gmail.com to join.

4. We signed up for an Audiostreet account (Pending Approval), are renovating the myspace, and creating a good website. Any help with the website is welcome!

5. Stereofame is another place where our music is. Our newest "Album" - "Infinaety", is in progress. Two songs are completed and they're the best yet. Check out "Realm" and "Tales of Grandeur" at www.stereofame.com/tetraeon.

6. Graphic art! New banners and logos as well, be sure to give those a look. These, among others, are being used on merchandise, which we are preparing to sell online - Mousepads and T-Shirts to start!

7. More fans, more comments, and overall, more popularity. We're getting known, and thats a good thing.

8. No record deal results yet, so if we don't get any by, say, november, we're going indie and releasing via Tunecore, and CD Baby. Then our stuff goes on youtube.

So yeah, give us a listen and offer help if you can! Opinions on this update are welcome as well!

Anyways, I could try tro help you with a website if you really want it, what do you have so far and where are you hosting it?

Awesome! So far - no idea where. We'd like a flash site where we can embed samples of our music for playing, a store for merchandise and music, a biography, animations, and all that musical stuff.

so Do you have hosting? or are you in the process of getting one, ixwebhosting is the best for hosting since it has free(?) store security tools.

My sister and I got stacks of t-shirts, mugs, mouse mats and holiday cards from them. I even got 250 Roguesoft business cards for free last year!

Actually, I think the site thing may be solved. One of our fans is a Social Media Marketer with 6+ years experience and he says he has connections, and unlimited bandwidth. He also says that if we get the domain name (www.tetraeonmusic.com) then he'll host for us and build the site exactly the way we want it. For free. This is great news!

Enough to pay off the cost of the merchandise, shipping, and sales. Altogether 50-60%, but that depends on your markup.

Wow, they don't charge for manufacturing, that means that even if no one buys your stuff you're not losing money. It's a risk free situation! I'm definitely opening a Roguesoft store! :D

Expect QoM mugs and "I survived the spammage of 2007" t-shirts! ;D
