Well it seems to be getting better...
I'd submit today but the thing is I'd need to do a lot of graphics for the rooms. Oh and I just downloaded your soundtrack, great job! ;D

your game rules. Knocks mine out. Very well made nice menus. great gameplay. Graphics are not the best (the paddle is just a rectangle) but WAY better than mine.
I'm voting for you.

Oh and one more thing, It needs sounds/music.
A game without music has an eerie feel that makes you feel so disconnected from the world  :(

I usually compose music for my games but due to the time limit I didn't for this one.  I agree, it would be much better with music (although if you're really desperate you can just open up iTunes and get a playlist going ;) ).  Thanks for the feedback.

This is just to clear everything up.

Tools:
I'm just going to allow SC and GM, for the reason that, A) we all have around the same limits, and B) we all know how to use it.

Graphics:
Graphics must be original, that being said, I have no problem if you base your sprites and such off others, (like my avatar). You must of course have the original creators permission.

Theme: There is none.

Engine: As there's no reason to make your own gridcode and such when its out there, you may use other's engines, just add it in the credits or splash screen if using GM.

Development
You may work on your engines now, but no "game" work(graphics, music, etc.) should be started until the 20th (as to provide everyone with an equal chance). I would use makeshift sprites until the 20th.

Games are due January 20th. Voting begins next day.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

I will decide on all submissions after. but for now 3 hours people!!

As for my game. It twas a combination of both not listening to sage Equinox advice, and being distracted by games.

Rules!
-Engines can be started now, BUT actual gamemaking (graphics etc...) must be made during timeframe.
-Engines DO NOT have to be original, but the original make must approve you using it.
- Teams Are allowed.
- Any Gamemaker will do, but it has to be able to run on macs.
- Common sense Cheating rules apply.
We got two sets of rules.
