SC does not support order of operations, so parenthesis are needed in many cases.

SC has 1-based arrays, which are easier to understand for new programmers. Currently, only one dimension is supported, but I think two dimensions could be added later.

Yay ! So that means my project (the Clown Script Interpreter) isn't the only script interpreter in the world without order of operations

I guess arrays starting at do make sense for begginers.

Nice game Charlo. I made it through the first few levels. I don't know what level I was on when I got stuck. EQ is right. It should have the level number showing.

Whoops! I meant to do that... *amends* I also posted a news snippet.

EDIT:

For some SQL related reason, the backend editor won't allow apostrophes or quotes these days, even though it used to allow them. I've resorted to raw HTML entities as a workaround, but it's very annoying. I don't understand enough about php or SQL to do anything about it though, and the site itself is a big confusing monster to look at. I reckon I'd have to rebuild it from scratch if we ever wanted to make drastic changes.

I wonder what Ghost's doing now...

Well, I know in PHP that you need to escape apostrophes with a backslash if you want to output them. But it's weird that it would just stop doing that and prevent you from using apostrophes. There's a built-in method in PHP to add escape characters, and if nobody's touched it, there's no reason it should have stopped working.

In short, I have no idea really.
