Connors' Dumb Youtube Show Pitch

"Behind the Truth" - A comedic Youtube series that satires conspiracy theorists and ghosts hunters and the like. Each episode would be based around at least one theory or hoax or bizarre story. Sasquatch, the Lochness Monster, UFOs, aliens in New Mexico, Elvis Presley etc.

A lot of the jokes would come from discrediting popular theories in favor of even weirder ones.

I just like my idea for the title because it's good irony.

It also helps that I live in New Mexico and might be able to find some good filming locations.

Go for it. I'd be willing to help with the writing, voiceovers, logos, even "artist's renditions" of aliens or ghosts or something.

We're talking like dumb X-Files here, right?

Do you have a good camera?

You'd be the leader. I'd help if you need any of my skills.

Yes I do have a camera, and if it winds up with bad quality that's actually a plus. I'll let you guys know if the show takes off, I suppose. My friend and I were just brainstorming for a little while today. I know for sure there will be a lot of talk about ghosts. And aliens. And the Titanic.
And at least one episode involving Chupacabras and bad puns.

An important step in such an endeavor is to do actual, serious research into various myths and legends so that not only are the characters comedically getting things wrong, but we can know exactly what our characters are getting wrong.
