I've been meaning to upload the Roguesoft folder in its entirety for sometime now, but I never seem to get around to doing things. At long last here it is:

This is the complete collection of everything I've ever produced (as well as everything I never got round to producing) under the Roguesoft logo. I release it in the hopes of inspiring the current generation of dreamers and game makers. The world needs more games, and I commend all those who devote their time and talents into weaving fruit from their imagination. It's among the highest callings, and I consider it an honour to have played a part.

Developers have complete permission to use, modify and develop any resource within the package for any purpose, but I retain copyright over all my work (sprites, music, literature etc.). Gan also has copyright over everything Roguesoft, so his permission on anything goes.

Silverwind you truly are a giving tree of wealth and knowledge on these forums (and probobly in real life to) and I'd just like to thank you and hope you keep frequenting this quaint little corner of the Internet. When I first joined this forum two years ago it was the encouragement of you and Al who got me started into programming and now I'm considering it as a serious life calling. So from the bottom of my heart. Thank you, for all you do as far as inspiration and beyond.

I think I've figured out why I can't run most of those games in OS 9 SheepShaver.

I believe they were compiled for OS X using Carbon. Meaning they are only compatible with Mac OS 10.1-10.5.
So I guess I'm gonna install 10.4 on VirtualBox.

I'm going to attempt to install Mac OS 10.4 in VirtualBox on my Mac OS 10.8.
I'm hoping it'll work.

They should work on OS X 10.1 to 10.6.8

Dug out the sprite editor for the first time in ages today and updated the colour palette to better reflect the warmth and lightheartedness of the original sprite palette.

I just checked out the whole Roguesoft folder. IT IS AMAZING.

All those unfinished game and all the finished stuff, it's really blowing my mind. So much talent and gah. All I can do is code, Silver your stuff could have it's own Museum!

And at the same time, I see all the cool stuff in the unfinished folder and I feel sad.

There's certainly a lot of unfinished projects, although some of them are multiple expressions of the same idea.

I used to feel terribly restless and self-burdened to finish them all, but the knowledge of Christ quite literally gives rest even in the most exacting areas of my life. Any themes I tried to express though the games (adventure, friendship, struggle, triumph, glory etc.) all find their fulfilment in Him, and scripture reflects that so perfectly that my attempts are unnecessary (this doesn't dissuade my interest in game design you understand, but it removes any sense of burden).
