QOTM - November 2012
« on: October 04, 2012, 12:23:43 PM »
For the love of internets Gan can't you stick a Quote of the Month box at the top of the website again so it's like it was before? I bet you could even get a thing together where it loads the quote for different pages.
And also any thought on good quotes? Chat box highlights?

(Joke quote that probably shouldn't be QOTM but whatever:)

Blargh.
That convo is too inappropriate to be QoTM. Even too inappropriate for forum posts.

Is the GMG going through puberty?
The site itself doesn't contain the biological properties to go through the process of puberty.
However, it does appear that some of our latest members are indeed going through puberty.

Either of those last 2 posts could be the quote.

First of all me and moe arent the two newest members. Moe and zoo are, if im coorect.
Second our posts aren't a reflection of us going through puberty its just a different kind of dynamic than this site had before her or the chatbox. The chat box alows for convorsations in short little quips and stories like that, that insead of being immortalized should be fleeting. Also until recent everybody has been strangers and most posts were made by "older" people and business-like (to an extent). When i joined two years ago I conformed to that standard since my first impressions of this forum were made to me by Al and Silverwind. Convorsations like the one mentioned are a reflection of me and moe's previouse relationship and the fact that were more casual with each other than we should be. Not anything hormonal.

Connors, what is it about the quote from Moe that is in any way funny/interesting? I just found it confusing.

This was in your signature. It's not that bad.

Oh yeah that one's perfect Gan said that in the chat box. I still don't know if he was being sarcastic or not.

That game was as bad as a Pokémon ripoff can be. It had BASICALLY the same types of Pokémon, except instead of choosing one and then going off to battle, you could only battle after a certain time (unless you buy battles, it's a free app, of course.) and you ALWAYS catch it. There's only a few attacks. No strategy at all. No risk. And after playing for like 10 minutes, you have about 3 of each of the 4 different monsters that you can fight early on. There's no rare monsters. You pick which one to battle. It was a horrible attempt at making a Pokémon for iOS and an insult to my childhood.
