I often think about a random word or sentence, then think of a random odd number (usually 3, 5, or 7) and count how many times I can rhythmically step through the 'measure' of that number (i.e. multiply it) while stepping through the letters in the word/sentence. In other words, the length of the word/sentence has to divide evenly by the random number. Leftover numbers can be spent on empty spaces on the left and right sides of the word/sentence, but that's usually a lame way to finish, especially when I already stepped through the word/sentence and I'm just going "oh crap, I have a remainder, where do I put these".
I've done this for several years, but I don't think I've consciously thought about it before. I'm not sure if it's a game or not.
