Zoo said I should make a thread on why to run it instead of how to run it.
Well, the worlds are just as fascinating and cool as any Myst game, there's plenty to do on your own; Yet, you can always invite other people to explore with you and you help each other figure out puzzles. I like the huge machines in Teledahn.
Plus the community is big enough that public areas don't feel abandoned and this game attracts more... intelligent users than, say, Call of Duty. You can meet and have actual conversations with people.
Here's something new players should try:
In a public area, ask about what a Door Run is. People will be glad to help round up 8 or 9 players to assist with the run. Somehow this particular co-op puzzle never gets old.
And that's why I like this game so much.
http://mystonline.com/en/about/screenshots/PS: Normally only people near you receive chats. people across the map won't hear. You can use /shout [message] to announce to everyone. Sometimes turning on /autoshout so you're always heard is useful. Just thought it would be good to know...
