Im willing to go all the way wih an expand QoM project. Id even be up for making the currently existing code more modular.

I hope that we can make a large cohesive storyline about the milue this is set in, and make it a full fledged rpg. Perhapse something like LoZ with one storyline that is sort off set in stone, but allows a lot of freedom

I finally played this. It's a faithful port of the original, but it seems that the battle engine has been slowed down? Even if it was originally like that, seriously, make those sword sprites move faster.

Hi folks.

Completely random post here coming in after 5 months of silence on this thread. I've just downloaded QoM on iOS and I have to say, bravo! I missed this on the Mac so I'm very happy to play through on my iphone. I also left a 5 star review on the App Store - I think it's that good of a throwback, indie RPG.

Not sure that the dev is still around here, but I have a question about a certain part of the game, where I'm stuck. On the blue Drow level, I've succeeded in opening the platinum (I think) door and stepping on the shiny tile, which removed one brick wall leading toward the exit. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to proceed.

Would you mind sending me a note at jmorris5181@gmail.com? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Psiufoxx, welcome to the GMG!

I'm the guy who converted Silverwind's wonderful game, Quest of Magic, to iOS. I sent an email with a tip to help you out.
I'm glad you like the game so much and I'm pleasantly surprised players would go as far as making a post to seek help.

If you have any more questions/comments or are interested in game development, feel free to post!

Edit:
Truthfully when I first played the game for Mac, after 3 hours of entertainment(felt like 5 minutes) I got stuck in the same spot. (Actually before that I also got stuck on the runaway chest, couldn't figure out how to bloody catch that thing!)

Yeah I think I had to look up hints on that too. (The trick is to move really fast)
