Haha, it seems that if you upgrade, there's no turning back.

Good thing I keep backups.

Anywho, in Terraria 1.1.1 they have an option to change cursor color in the settings menu. Very handy, I changed my cursor color to white.

We're upgrading to Terraria 1.1.2! The latest!

AHAHA YEAAAH! Thank you YouTube. That's where I found it for Mac.

It's attached. Fixes sound bugs, makes it faster and no more crashes!

Edit: Slight annoyance. You cannot put the game in a folder containing a space. If you do, it will not work.

I also have good and bad news:

Circuit and I destroyed the Wall of Flesh. That was the good news.

Now corruption will spread freely over the world, new monsters have arrouse, and all monsters have increased in HP and strength. That is the bad news.

The Hallowed Biome, many new species such as the Pixie, the Pearl Rock, Cobalt, and Mithril are now available. That is more good news.

Our mission: We need to destroy all of the corruption before it takes over the GMG Palace.
Oh and yeah, beware of werewolves.

Yeah, we reached a unanimous decision.
Cheating and using items/characters from other servers just ruins the fun.

Plus when we defeated the Hades boss, I realized we weren't ready to handle the increased difficulty and spread of corruption.

Oh and yeah, there's a whole bunch of new stuff if you make a new character and a new world with 1.1.2.

You should put up a map where everyone's allowed to cheat once a week or something so we can build cool things together without the work of getting all the stuff.

Can I use my old character?

New characters only. Starting from scratch.

If my computer was powerful enough I'd host 2 servers. (1) The old GMG World where anything goes and (2) The new GMG World with the rules.

I've been looking into teleportation pads and there aren't any actual teleportation pad mods made yet.

I'm thinking I'd like to make a mod where the user can step on a pad and be teleported. To another pad of the same color.

theres not very many mods for terraria. Thats why I said we should make a gigantic mod library for it.

idea for the tele pad.
there are circuits where if u step on pad #2 you'd go to #3 and keep going up till it loops back to #1. That way your  not bound by colors, but you can create many different circuits.

Vanilla=no mods.
That's not exactly true though. I just don't like the server mods. They're confusing.  The commands are weird.

Terraria has enough in it that it doesn't need many mods. I can see why you'd want teleportation pads, but isn't that what beds are for? I enjoyed the sense of adventure one gets when traveling in Terraria. If you just poof there, is it really a game? If you can justify warps and warp pads and stuff as not cheating, you could justify character editors. One edits a character to not waste time getting the items. One uses warp pads to not waste time getting from point A to point B.
